Terms of Service
These Terms govern your access to realthesis.com and the Thesis application. By creating an account or using Thesis, you agree to these Terms.
EFFECTIVE 7 AUGUST 2026The service
Thesis is research and decision-support software for self-directed investors. It organizes source-linked information, records investment theses, compares user-defined scenarios and risk budgets, and can prepare trade structures for user review.
Thesis may change, add, suspend, or remove features as the product develops. We may use reasonable limits to protect availability, security, providers, and other users.
Eligibility and accounts
You must be legally able to enter into these Terms in your jurisdiction. You are responsible for accurate account information, the security of your credentials, and activity conducted through your account. Use the Contact form promptly if you believe your account has been compromised.
Investment and broker boundary
Thesis does not custody customer funds or securities, open brokerage accounts, or execute live-money trades. Current execution features operate only in paper environments. A trade structure shown by Thesis is a model for your review, not a promise of execution price, return, or suitability.
You remain responsible for every investment decision and for confirming the security, instrument, direction, quantity, price, duration, risk, tax consequences, and account before acting. Any broker is an independent service provider governed by its own agreement with you.
Research, sources, and automated output
Market data, issuer information, analyst views, and other third-party material may be delayed, incomplete, revised, or unavailable. Source links are provided for inspection and do not imply that a publisher, bank, analyst, issuer, broker, or data provider endorses Thesis.
Any automated or AI-assisted output made available through Thesis can contain errors. You must independently verify material facts and current market conditions. Historical results, price targets, scenarios, and modeled payoffs do not guarantee future outcomes.
Acceptable use
You may not misuse the service, bypass access controls, interfere with other users, probe for vulnerabilities without authorization, upload unlawful or infringing material, use Thesis to manipulate a market, misrepresent automated output, or violate applicable law or a provider agreement.
Ownership and third-party services
Thesis and its original software, design, and content are protected by applicable intellectual-property laws. These Terms give you a limited, personal, revocable right to use the service and do not transfer ownership.
Third-party sites, data, research, brokers, and services are controlled by their respective providers. Thesis is not responsible for their availability, content, actions, or terms.
Access, future paid services, and cancellation
Thesis is currently free to join and does not require a payment card for current access. If a paid service is introduced, its price, currency, billing interval, renewal terms, delivery timing, cancellation method, and refund rules will be shown before you authorize a charge.
You may stop using Thesis at any time. Use the Contact form to ask about account closure. We may need to verify your identity and may retain records required for security, dispute resolution, or legal obligations.
Suspension and termination
We may restrict or terminate access where reasonably necessary to respond to a security risk, unlawful conduct, material breach, provider restriction, or threat to the service. Where practical, we will provide notice and an opportunity to resolve the issue.
Disclaimers and liability
Thesis is provided on an as-available basis. To the maximum extent permitted by law, we disclaim implied warranties and do not warrant that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or suitable for a particular investment decision.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Thesis is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, exemplary, or punitive damages, or for trading losses, lost profits, lost data, or losses caused by third-party services. Nothing in these Terms excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded.
Changes and contact
We may update these Terms as the service changes. The effective date above identifies the current version. Continued use after an update takes effect means you accept the updated Terms where permitted by law.
Questions about these Terms can be submitted through the Contact form.
